What it is

A pitch night with Florida yard energy

Think folding-table judges, cold drinks, and ideas that might actually ship — hosted on the Camp No Pants lot in Port St. Lucie. This is a new local format from NoPantsProfits / Richard Shillington. Not a TV franchise. Not a VC roadshow. Just people who build stuff, pitching to people who can help.

Founders pitch

Local PSL / Treasure Coast businesses, side hustles, apps, products — bring the ask, the demo, and the guts.

Sharks decide

Local operators, investors, and connectors who can write checks, open doors, or say “hard pass” with love.

If selected, you get a slot. Bring a tight pitch (think a few minutes, not a TED Talk), any demo, and thick skin.

Straight answers

Is this the TV show Shark Tank?

No. Independent local event in Port St. Lucie. Same general idea (pitch → feedback → possible deals), totally different brand and production. We don’t use TV show logos or claim any affiliation.

Do I really have to wear no pants?

It’s a vibe, not a dress code ordinance. Wear what lets you pitch confidently. Flip-flops encouraged. Full boardroom cosplay gently mocked.

Is there a fee to apply or pitch?

Interest applications are free. If a session ever has a fee (venue, production, etc.), we’ll say so upfront before you commit — no surprise invoices.

When’s the first event?

First pitch night is Saturday, September 26, 2026 — live from Camp No Pants in Port St. Lucie. Pre-show dueling pianos from 6:00 PM on the lot; pitches at 8:00 PM. Giant inflatable screen. RSVP below as a pitcher, shark, or audience — we’ll send date + location.

Can I just come watch?

Yes. Pick Join the audience in the form. After you RSVP we send Saturday, September 26, 2026 (dueling pianos from 6pm, pitches at 8pm) and where to show up on the Camp No Pants lot — inflatable screen, local pitch night.

Lot safety

Read this before you RSVP

  • Outdoor lot: tents, vehicles, a camper, uneven grass, insects / fire ants.
  • Retaining wall + canal at the back of the property — stay away from the edge. No swimming.
  • Bring closed-toe shoes. Watch your step after dark.
  • 21+ if alcohol is present. Host may provide complimentary drinks; alcohol is NOT sold. Drink responsibly; no one under 21.
  • This is a private open hang / local pitch night, not a licensed club.

Lot safety waiver

I am at least 18 years old (21+ if I will drink alcohol). I understand this is an outdoor private lot hang / local pitch night at Camp No Pants in Port St. Lucie with tents, vehicles, a camper, uneven ground, insects/fire ants, and a retaining wall and canal at the edge of the property. I will stay away from the wall and canal, will not swim, will wear closed-toe shoes, and will watch my step after dark. Alcohol may be BYOB and/or host-provided and is NOT sold; I will not drink if under 21. I voluntarily assume the inherent outdoor and social-event risks of attending. To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, I release and hold harmless Richard L. Shillington, Camp No Pants, and event hosts from claims arising from ordinary negligence related to my attendance. I understand this does not waive claims for intentional misconduct or other rights that cannot be waived under Florida law. I type my full legal name below to show I read and agree. I will not bring anyone under 18 onto the lot if alcohol is present, and I am responsible for anyone I bring.
